Puppy intros are so important; getting them used to the different sounds and smells in the salon, as well as being away from you!
A puppy introduction includes:
A super sensitive shampoo and conditioner
Drying with the stand dryer and an introduction to the high velocity dryer (on a low speed setting)
Brush & comb of all the coat
Nails cut and pads trimmed
Hygiene area and armpits trimmed
Eyes scissored (if puppy will accept it!)
Ears & eyes cleaned
Lots of kisses, cuddles and treats!
Old dogs have a special place in my heart. With my golden oldies everything is taken back to puppy level. If they do not want to be dried with the blaster then I won't dry them with the blaster! If that back right leg isn't as stable as it used to be and has become sensitive to the vibration of the clippers I will scissor it instead!
A senior dog groom is all about comfort. Yes pads will be trimmed, nails clipped and any knots removed - but the rest of the groom is up to your dog!
This is for regular customers only (so I already know the condition of the dog's coat!)
Bath - shampoo and conditioner using products suited to your dog's fur and skin type
Blow dry & brush out - mainly using the stand dryer so I can brush/comb at the same time as drying
Feet - nails cut and pads shaved underneath
Hygiene - hygiene area and armpits shaved
Eye corners scissored
Ears & eyes cleaned
Nail trims are included in every groom, but if your dog's nails grow quickly or you would like them doing more regularly, then you are more than welcome to book in for a nail trim!
